All children and young people have, under  various articles in the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child, a right to be safe from harm and exploitation.  As a Rights Respecting School we have taken steps to help children and young people to feel safe.  These steps are outlined on our safeguarding policy which you can see below.  Our Safeguarding policy has been developed in discussion with our 4 Associated Primary Schools and by working to a common policy we hope it will help families to be familiar with and reassured about the approach we are all taking:
