Congratulations to Shaun, the new Scottish Judo Champion for his weight. He won Gold at the Sport Scotland National Centre in Inverclyde on the 6th November. His victory came with a blend of devastating throws such as Drop Seoi Nage and the odd arm lock thrown in for good measure. Shaun in S4 will now be training with the Scottish National Team and perhaps soon, the UK National Squad. Scottish Champions can make it to the Olympics if they are dedicated.

Shaun has demonstrated extreme hard work and amazing skill to win the title, along with the discipline, manners and respect he always brings to his school life. Shaun is an excellent example of how hard work, humility and determination can take you far. He is a great role model for his peers and we wish this young gentleman every success on his Judo journey.
