What is the PTA?

PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association.  The PTA is made up of parents and teachers who come together to raise funds for the benefit of the school and its pupils.  Many PTAs, like ours, provide funds which are essential to bring much needed income to support school activities.

Anyone who has a child attending Harlaw can be part of the PTA.  In fact, it is a great way to keep connected with the school and fun events that are planned.

The PTA is different to the Parent Council (PC), although it is a subcommittee of the PC.  More info about the Parent Council can be found on their web pages.
